Raelynn Stattner is an experienced family law attorney and has been practicing exclusively in the Carlsbad and San Diego areas of California for more than 13 years. She has been certified by the State Bar of California as a Specialist in Family Law for 5 years and was named a 2020 Rising Star in San Diego by Super Lawyers. Ms. Stattner dedicates her practice to advocating for her clients’ best interest in a manner that is efficient, ethical, solution-driven, and tailored to each client’s needs.
Education and Early Career
Ms. Stattner attended California Western School of Law where she graduated cum laude in the top 12% of her class. She began her career in family law while in law school serving as a legal research intern for the family law division of the San Diego Superior Court at the central courthouse location in downtown San Diego. Prior to graduating law school, she also completed an internship with a prestigious family law firm in San Diego. After being admitted to the California State Bar in 2010, Ms. Stattner went on to work for a well-known family law attorney in San Diego County prior to refining her skills as an attorney in other leading family law firms in San Diego County. Ms. Stattner joined McKinnon Law Firm in 2023 where she continues to apply her years’ worth of family law experience in the context of a firm dedicated to providing individualized and expert attention to clients.
Comprehensive Knowledge, Skill, and Experience in Family Law
As a Certified Family Law Specialist, Ms. Stattner has extensive experience in advocating and litigating all aspects of family law. Specifically, Ms. Stattner has successfully advocated for clients in high-conflict child custody matters and custody relocation (or move-away) cases, including interstate and international custody matters. Along with child custody and relocation cases, Ms. Stattner is experienced in preparing and reviewing premarital and post-marital agreements, complex property division matters (including high asset and high-income cases), child and spousal support issues, paternity cases, and all aspects of post-judgment modification matters.
